George Family found Door Panels PLC to manufacture infill panels for the Door and Window Industry. |
|
|

Rapid growth see’s Door Panels become one of the largest door component producers in Europe producing over 500 doors per day. |

| 1986 |
|
• |
George Family develop Permadoor is the world’s first pre finished maintenance free door product with excellent insulting properties, our first environmentally friendly product. |

• |
Door Panels moves to new custom built 40,000 sq foot production facilities |

New 30,000 sq. ft. Permadoor Production facility completed, |
|

| 1992 |

Door Panels sold to Heywood Williams PLC |

Initial production and sale of Postsaver commences using pilot production plant, first 30,000 Postsaver protected posts sold and in service |

Testing of Postsaver system commences, initial accelerated testing shows excellent results further backed up by long term field tests. |

Development commences on a new maintenance free finishing system to apply a thin high performance thermoplastic film to 3 dimensional exterior products such as timber doors, windows cladding etc. Allowing environmentally friendly wood based products to compete with plastic and aluminium alternatives. |

After 4 years process development Postsaver production facility commissioned in Wakefield |
|

| 2003 |

Postsaver USA formed by USA Company, Postsaver launched on the American Market, initial application is the protection of timber supports for high value Pole Buildings. |

Agreement entered in to with world’s largest Chemicals and Plastics group BASF to undertake joint development of the maintenance free finishing system under the Permaskin brand name. |

BASF set up Permaskin development and demonstration facility at its main plant in Ludwigshafen, work commences with BASF to develop and commercialise the Permaskin process |

Development commences on automatic spout product to prevent overfilling of fuel tanks under the Easy-Fill brand name |

Permaskin process enters commercial use with volume UK door producer |

Postsaver receives AWPA (American Wood Protection Association) approval in the USA |
